JCPenney's Mini Catalogs: Hate it or Love it? I remember the days of ol when the highlight of the Christmas season was getting a big JCPenney Catalog. I remember turning the pages all shiny and new dreaming of the possibilities of what I would get you. The catalogs were heavy and easily 500 pages or more. My mother used to bookmark the pages by folding, post its, or colored tabs. We used to walk to the back of the store with postcard coupon in hand for our free catalog. The catalog eventually went from free to $5, but we didn't care we loved our book. Today I got in mail the mini catalog and I am not to enthusiastic about it. Maybe because I miss the days of ol or maybe because it has lost its appeal. I carefully looked at each page felt the material, the fiber, and no memories.
